Hi there! That is a very personal question, I know. Here are my personal feelings on the question. If my wife says that something is important to her, well, then it is automatically important to me too. That is our rule. If she is passionate about something, I am too. It is all about being one with your partner. Don’t ever think there are not disagreements and arguments, they happen. BUT….we work them out. I, being the hard-headed man, usually have to back down and come to the painful realisation, that yes, she was right all along. I over think, over react, over care-take, all the overs. The bottom line is …I love her. I tend to try and be too controlling sometime and she knows how to get my attention and let me know I am being unreasonable and she is usually right. That seems to be the man’s role, to be a jerk and then have his partner clue him in as to where he is wrong. We listen…..well…not well, but we do listen. We need to get over our ego and just admit when we are wrong. Don’t take this as an admission that women are NEVER wrong, they are. They are human too. We all make mistakes and we all screw up. But that is the role of a good relationship. To listen, admit when you are wrong and take your lumps and then kiss and make up. I love my wife and she loves me. She just doesn’t like me some days. That is what it takes to have a good relationship. admit it and you are on your way.
What is a “good” relationship?

Green Sand Beach
Since this is my first Blog here, I will tell you a little about one of my favorite places. On my trips to The Big Island of Hawaii over the last few years, I have always meant to go to the Green Sand Beach (Papakolea)on the very southern tip of the island. There are only 2 such beaches in the world. It is formed by a gem stone,Olavine or Peridot and is washed out of the volcanic rock that surrounds the beach.

It is a short, well 1/2 hour or so walk or a 4X4 drive to the beach from the “parking ” area. If on the island, ask the locals about it. You have to see it! very Rugged coastline, surf pounding in, the cliffs to the west about 1/4 mile away are 60 feet high and if you fall off……they tell me you better have a good map of Antarctica with you.
I love Hawaii and will someday live there. I especially love the Kona Coffee. I fell in love with it the first trip there and have stuck to it ever since. I sell the coffee that I import from Kona Kailua and my customers love it. It is known all over the world as one of the best coffees around. Full bodied, bold flavor with a very mild feel. It is the best! If you can find it try it, you will fall in love.
